On May 3rd, the kick-off meeting for the next ‘Innovatief Aanbesteden’ project has taken place in Gent. The project is called ‘E-Bike Sharing’ and the intention of this project is providing the public with a users friendly and ergonomic system for lending electric bikes that are shared among the city public. This project wants to increase a better city public tranport with a lower CO2 emission, better air quality in cities, stimulate renewable energy and promote a better lifestyle.
The federal government wants to provide an example for sustainable mobility and a better environment.
